The final film of Kollywood star Vijay, Jana Nayagan, faces ongoing speculation because fans believe that political forces are obstructing the movie’s progress. The DMK government which MK Stalin leads together with the BJP received public criticism from supporters who believe authorities use censorship as a tool to cause problems for Vijay. Fans desired that Vijay who has entertained audiences for decades should receive a dignified farewell from cinema.

Vijay’s father S.A. Chandrasekhar who is a veteran filmmaker and producer has finally responded to the film’s delayed release problem which has created growing public concern.

Chandrasekhar dismissed intimidation allegations because he believed his son would succeed against all challenges.

Vijay shows extreme courage together with his strong determination. He is not someone who gets scared easily. He has crossed many obstacles in his life and knows that bigger challenges await him in the future. He is fully prepared to face them,” he said.

He also referred to past incidents, including the Karur episode, stating that attempts were earlier made to stop Vijay, but the public is well aware of what truly happened. “Once you enter politics, such issues are inevitable. The Jana Nayagan issue is part of that journey. The Tamil people know very well why the film has not been released yet,” Chandrasekhar added.

He stated that Vijay’s political career launch has created political consciousness among young people who now understand current events better.

Release Further Delayed After Madras High Court Order

The Madras High Court issued a ruling that Ji Jana Nayagan will experience additional delays because the court ruling used to resolve the situation. The court overturned its previous order which had instructed the CBFC to issue a U/A certificate for the film.

The High Court established that the film cannot be released until the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issues the censor certificate which requires the production team to wait until the approval process is completed.

The public discussion and political debate about Vijay’s upcoming final film continue to increase while the legal process for his movie remains active.
