Thaandavam holds its ground at the box office and it keeps on drawing good numbers even in its second week. The movie has raised its total net collection in India to nearly ₹90 crores after a powerful first 13 days.
As per the first estimates, the film directed by Boyapati Srinu collected approximately ₹1.65 crores India net on its 14th Day (Thursday) across all versions. Hence, the total net collection of the movie in India now stands at about ₹89.25 crores after two weeks.
The sequel to the action film was very well received and took in ₹8 crore on the very first day, and ₹22.5 crore on the first Friday. Although there was a small drop in the numbers during the week, the film kept weekends very strong with ₹76.75 crore coming from the first week altogether. The second week saw a plateau in the numbers which was attributed to the crowd from Diwali and the fans’ great interest in the film.
