The Railway Ministry has announced that the Amrit Bharat Express for Hyderabad is a great alternative for the passengers from both Telugu states. The weekly express train service is going to be introduced on Friday, January 23, and the timings along with the list of stoppages in Andhra Pradesh have already been made public.
The train service newly started will not only make the connection between these four states but also improve the less than splendid condition of rail travel in the Southern part of India.
The most important info coming from the South Central Railway was the Amrit Bharat Express service going westward connecting Cherlapalli and Thiruvananthapuram North. A temporary train number has been given for the trip which will take off from Thiruvananthapuram North at 10:45 a.m. on Fridays and reach Cherlapalli at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. In addition, the railway authorities have mentioned that the schedule for the regular operation of the two trains with the numbers 17041/17042 will be released soon.
The government of Kerala is not ready yet, but it will keep a close eye on the maiden trip of the train which will pass through the most visited places Varkala Sivagiri, Kollam, Karunagappalli, Kayamkulam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, and Palakkad.
As the train enters Tamil Nadu, it will be stopping at Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpet, Katpadi, and Tiruttani. It will then go to Andhra Pradesh, where the stops will be Renigunta, Nellore, Ongole, Bapatla, Tenali, and Guntur before going through Sattenapalli, Miryalaguda, and Nalgonda to reach Cherlapalli.
