The megastar Chiranjeevi is preparing to amuse the public once again with his 157th film, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, which is a complete mass entertainer and is directed by the hitmaker Anil Ravipudi. The film is backed by Sushmita Konidela and Sahu Garapati and is produced under the banners of Gold Box Entertainments and Shine Screen.
In the film, Chiranjeevi has the support of the two leading ladies Nayanthara and Catherine Tresa, and there will be Victory Venkatesh in a special role. The DoP of the movie will be Sameer Reddy, and the editor will be Tammiraju, while Bheems Ceciroleo will be the one to compose the music. The film’s global release in theaters will be massive on January 12, which is the day for the Sankranthi festival and celebrations.
Censor Board Review and Certificate
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has finished the censorship process which was under strong buzz due to the release. As per the news, the screening for censorship went on very smoothly as there were no objectionable scenes in the motion picture. However, the board pointed out a few dialogues as unsuitable and asked for respective cuts.
The CBFC viewed the movie’s finished version and they rated it Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu UA (UA16+). This means that the movie can be seen by those aged 16 years and above without any limitation, while the minors under 16 are advised to watch it along with their parents. The production team let it be known that they have done all the necessary work regarding the censorship.
Runtime and Expectations
The film has a total runtime of 2 hours and 42 minutes (162 minutes). The film’s main target group was the family audience during Sankranthi, so it was very much centered around fun, laughter, and celebration. In the trade circles Anil Ravipudi is rumored to have once more drawn on his established formula of comedy, family emotions, and mass moments to bolster Chiranjeevi’s already larger-than-life screen image.
There are also rumors in the industry about the lustre of the film being dependent upon the chemistry between Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara, along with the comedy scenes and Venkatesh’s guest role. The mega fans’ optimism is particularly directed towards the director, expecting him to have produced a crowd-pleasing entertainer suitable for the festive season.
