The Sankranti release Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is a great family film with lots of entertainment that brings back the classic mass-comedy Tollywood megastars vibes. Chiranjeevi sparkles in the role of Shankara Varaprasad, a Chief Security Advisor who is entangled in a family drama, romance, and rivalry at the same time. Venkatesh, as the mining kingpin Venky Gowda, gives a very good and at times even maniacal performance which is perfectly in sync with the megastar, while Nayanthara, taking the lead, holds up the story through her powerful aura among the characters.
Among other things, director Anil Ravipudi manages to fill the movie with laughing moments, emotional hits, and super stylish scenes. The first half is filled with nonstop comedy, especially scenes involving Master Revanth as Bulliraju. The second half balances emotions, action, and entertainment, with standout moments when Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh share screen space—song sequences and dialogues are particularly engaging.
The film’s technical aspects are solid. Bheem Cicerolio’s music, including folk-inspired numbers, enhances the narrative. As an observer noticed it, Tammiraju’s editing has given the required punch with precision, beautifying the presence of vigor and pace established by Ram-Laxmi’s cinematography. The fight sequences and megastar-style shots deserve a standing ovation.
