Record Laddu Sales at Tirumala in 2025, TTD Reports

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) achieved historical records in sales of Srivari Laddu Prasadam during 2025 which signifies a considerable increase from the last year. Sales of laddu according to TTD sources were up by 10 percent in comparison to 2024.

The year 2024 TTD sold the vast quantity of 12.15 crore laddus to devotees, while the number was raised to 13.52 crore laddus in the year 2025 which amounts to an additional sale of 1.37 crore laddus in a year. The increase was deemed a significant shift in the present era by the officials.

On the 27th of December, 2025, an astonishing event occurred when the number of laddus purchased by the devotees reached an incredible 513,000 in one day, and this sale was the largest one recorded in the last ten years.

To meet the escalating demand, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has been producing 400,000 laddus daily since the previous year.The production on special and festive days goes up to eight to ten lakh in order to make sure that the devotees get their share.

TTD officials informed that about 700 Sri Vaishnava Brahmins are working in two shifts at the Srivari Potu around the clock preparing the sacred prasadam with total devotion and strict adherence to tradition. Recently, pilgrims have also reported the laddus’ quality and taste to have been improved and they have been happy with the product.


Chennai Devotee Donates ₹50 Lakh to TTD Trust

In a different context, Ponnaya Nageswaran, a follower from Chennai, contributed a considerable sum of ₹50 lakh to the TTD Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust on Thursday. The donation was delivered in the form of a demand draft to TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu at the Chairman’s Camp Office in Tirumala, where the official ceremony was held.

TTD officials were thankful for the kind donation and mentioned such donations are a great support for the temple activities and pilgrim welfare programs.
