Google Adds New Developer Tools to AI Pro and Ultra Subscriptions

Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers now get Developer Program benefits, including Google Cloud credits, to speed up AI app development and deployment.

Google has announced the integration of Google Developer Program (GDP) premium benefits into its Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra subscriptions, offering developers expanded tools and cloud resources at no additional cost.

Google AI Pro subscribers will receive $10 in Google Cloud credits each month through the update while Google AI Ultra subscribers will receive $100 in Google Cloud credits. The system exists to assist developers in transitioning from their testing phase to real-world deployment while avoiding unpredicted expenses.

Google said the initiative addresses a common challenge for developers—turning successful generative AI prototypes into fully deployed applications. Until now, access to advanced models such as Gemini 3 Pro was available through GDP premium, but deploying applications required a separate Google Cloud billing setup.

The new integration enables developers to create and release and expand their applications through one unified platform. The subscribers can create prototypes by using Google AI Studio and the agentic IDE Google Antigravity and the open-source Gemini CLI. The users can deploy their applications through Google Cloud services which include Vertex AI and Cloud Run, while they can use their cloud credits to access Gemini API resources.

Google announced that the update establishes a more streamlined development process which allows developers to create AI-powered applications from initial ideas through to their deployment.

Current Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra subscribers can use their new benefits through the Google Developer Program portal, which also offers access to technical resources and developer communities and forums.
