IPL 2026 Mini Auction in Abu Dhabi as franchises prepare for crucial player bids.

The IPL 2026 mini auction is coming up, and details are announced for it to be held at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, December 16. The whole one-day event has turned into a major source of excitement for the franchises, players and fans as the teams are going all out to get their rosters perfectly.

The BCCI has put together a list of 350 players for the mini auction. Out of that, there are 240 Indian players and 110 overseas players. The list consists of players with 112 caps and 238 uncapped players, with 77 slots available across the 10 franchises which include 31 overseas slots. A total of ₹237.55 crore will be available to teams collectively for the hiring process.

The majority of franchises have already kept their main players, which has led to a number of high-profile names being the centre of the auction’s attention. Cameron Green, Venkatesh Iyer, Ravi Bishnoi, David Miller, and Mahesh Theekshana are likely to be involved in a huge money deal, whereas even the attraction to Steve Smith and Quinton de Kock might be recognized.
