This is according to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, which stated that Kantara: Chapter 1 earned ₹2.50 crore on the 28th day of its release (October 29), passing the ₹599.15 crore mark in domestic collections.
Occupancy slipped slightly, with occupancies at 11.44% in Kannada, 8.79% in Telugu, 13.37% in Hindi, and 17.39% in Tamil. Still, this is a matter of pride, the film remains one of the biggest pan-India blockbusters of 2025 and sits at 43rd rank of all-time highest-grossing Hindi films.

For those who missed the theatrical experience, Kantara: Chapter 1 is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 31.
The streaming giant confirmed the news with the announcement:

The OTT version will stream in Kannada, along with Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam dubbed versions. The newly released trailer teases an intense battle sequence led by Rishab Shetty’s character, Berme, the divine protector.
