Karthi and Kriti Shetty’s film Va Vathiyar (Telugu title: Annagaru Vostaru) is now set to release on OTT after facing multiple delays before its Sankranti theatrical release. The streaming platform announced through an official poster that the movie will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video from January 28. The film will be available in Telugu and Hindi and Malayalam and Kannada and Tamil.
Film Storyline
The movie depicts Raj Kiran who dedicates his life to his admiration for the legendary actor MGR. Raj Kiran names his grandson Rameswaran because MGR died on the day of his birth and he believes the child will succeed MGR. Raj Kiran raises him with the actor’s ideals of honesty and integrity and he trains him to become a police officer.
Rameswaran develops into a completely different person because he starts accepting bribes and abusing his authority. His grandfather discovers the truth about his behavior after he gets into a fight with a criminal gang. The rest of the story explains how Rameswaran’s life develops after this tragic event because Raj Kiran died from shock and disappointment.
