Hyderabad Set to Welcome Its Biggest Mall Yet in Kukatpally

Lakeshore Mall in Kukatpally set to open on December 12, emerging as Hyderabad’s largest upcoming retail and entertainment destination.

The city of Hyderabad is poised to achieve a great milestone in retail with the construction of the new Lakeshore Mall in Kukatpally, which is almost finished. A great commercial project is projected to open on December 12, it is being called one of the largest malls of the city, and will surpass the already big retail players in terms of size, design, and the lineup of brands.

Lakeshore mall scattered over an area of 1.66 million sq. ft. is likely to be 32% larger than Sarath City Capital Mall and almost be equal to the size of Inorbit Mall in terms of the Developers ASBL Landmark. The exact figures will be announced later, but the mall has already created quite a buzz and is now considered the next major shopping destination in Hyderabad.

Over 100 showrooms, will present a mixture of top international and national brands. H&M, Lifestyle, Starbucks, and Max are the names that have been confirmed, and alongside them, the addition of many more brands from the fashion, tech, and F&B sectors is also anticipated. Besides that, the premium P[XL] format of PVR is going to make its debut here on the entertainment side, which means that out of all, it will be the only one of its kind in Hyderabad after Inorbit Mall.

Another point of attraction is the accessibility. Shoppers will have the opportunity to get to the mall straight off the Balanagar Metro Station, which makes it one of the few malls in the city with a metro-linked access.

On the other hand, the residents who live in the vicinity of Kukatpally are raising their voices about the traffic congestion that may be caused by the mall opening, as the city has already experienced heavy jams during recent mall openings like LuLu Mall. With the area being already prone to traffic bottlenecks, the locals are worried that the new retail hub will only add to the weekend rush and long vehicle queues even though there is metro connectivity.

Lakeshore Mall is all set to transform the retail landscape of Hyderabad by offering scale, luxury, and convenience and at the same time it has also brought to the forefront the issue of proper urban planning and traffic preparedness questioning the grand launch.
