Telangana Government Expands EJHS Wellness Centers with Advanced Medical Services

Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha inaugurates upgraded EJHS Wellness Centers offering advanced medical services and digital appointment systems.

Employees of the Telangana government as well as journalists are going to get the upgraded health care services as Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha has declared substantial improvements to the Employees and Journalists Health Scheme (EJHS) Wellness Centers. The project involves the gradual rollout of state-of-the-art medical services in 12 centers all over the state.

High-End Medical Services to 12 Centers
NIMS Hospital will now take charge of the Khairatabad and Kukatpally centers, the most crowded ones in Hyderabad, and guarantee the direct reach to the skilled doctors. The other ten wellness centers will be managed by the Department of Medical Education (DME), which makes administration easier and faster for medical services.

At the moment, the EJHS Wellness Centers provide services such as general medicine, dental care, and physiotherapy. The new plan will also have departments like cardiology, nephrology, neurology, pediatrics, and dermatology. With these additions, the company aims to deliver the same quality of healthcare as a corporate sector and at the same time to lessen the burden of employees and journalists going to big hospitals for specialized treatment.

Technology to Improve Patient Experience
In order to cut down on waiting times and administrative hold-ups, the government will launch a digital platform. There will be a special mobile application for the patients to make online appointments with doctors, and the whole process of medicine procurement and distribution will be done digitally. Patients will be able to access the necessary medicines without any interruptions due to real-time updates on stock availability.

Enhanced Facilities for Comfort
Wellness centers will likewise enhance their frameworks, such as providing more comfortable waiting areas and adding facilities for diagnostic testing. These steps are meant to smoothen the healthcare journey for the government staff and the press, by tackling some of the most persistent issues at the field level.

Telangana, with these measures, raises the standard of delivering quality, accessible, and efficient health care for its public servants and media workers.
