Naveen Polishetty, the actor who is playing opposite Meenakshi Chaudhary in the forthcoming romantic comedy “Anaganaga Oka Raju”, made some jovial remarks about his marriage and the Sankranti film lineup during a recent promotional event. The film, which is a collaborative effort of Suryadevara Nagavamsi and Sai Soujanya as producers, and Kalyan Shankar as director, is going to be released on January 14, 2026, with the intention of making the viewers laugh a lot.
“I’ll Get Married After Prabhas”
During the event, Naveen Polishetty joked about the timing of his wedding:
“The wedding of Prabhas anna will take place first, and my wedding is at 12 noon the very next day!”
He went on to say that he has maintained a good friendship with Prabhas. Besides, Naveen reminisced about the last three years, stating how every Sankranti, the Bogi bonfires, kite flying, and the passing of time with Meenakshi Chaudhary have been like a celebration coming back again and again. He pointed out that his past films—Agent Sai, Jathi Ratnalu, and Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty—were all different in taste, and he is very much hoping “Anaganaga Oka Raju” will give nothing less than a fresh treat to the viewers.
First Prabhas, Then Chiru
Naveen Polishetty spoke about the Sankranti film releases, which include Prabhas’ “The Raja Saab” and Chiranjeevi’s “Man Shankara Varaprasad”:
“I wish all the Sankranti films a huge success. Me and Prabhas anna are not in any competition at all; instead, we have the strongest bond of friendship. Chiranjeevi garu has inspired and continues to inspire many, and he has shown that the industry can still welcome a person with a not-so-wealthy middle-class background to great heights. Watching a guru like him release a film doesn’t create pressure. “I will see Prabhas anna’s movie first, then Chiranjeevi garu’s film, and then my movie afterwards.”
In a jovial discussion with stars, Naveen exchanged bonhomie and took part in the new releases that accompany Sankranti. He, among others, promoted his film.
