Only 19 Movies to Stream on OTT This Week; 9 Must-Watch Titles, 4 Telugu Releases

OTT platforms are anticipating a week of relative calm, as only 19 films and web series are set to be digitally released during the period from December 29 to January 2. However, the lineup is still remarkable with nine remarkable titles of different languages and genres along with four Telugu films that are worth watching. It is also interesting to note that 11 out of the 19 titles will be made available for the first time on Netflix on the same day.

The launches will take place on the major streaming services which are Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Jio Hotstar, BookMyShow OTT, ETV Win, and Sun NXT.

Among the 19 releases, there are nine that are seen as must-watch content, with Mowgli, LBW, Ithiri Neram, Stranger Things Season 5 Finale, Echo, The Good Doctor, Love from 9 to 5, Haq, and Lupin Season 4, all included in that list.

Telugu-speaking audience will be able to watch only four movies and shows this week which means this week is a calm period in terms of OTT releases for the regional audience.

However, despite the low number of releases, the diversity of the genres—thrillers, romance, documentaries, and global series—still allows for every viewer to uncover something to their taste.
