Energetic star Ram Pothineni’s recent outing Andhra King Taluka is all set to make its digital debut. The film, which hit theatres on November 27, 2025, featured Bhagyashree Borse as the female lead and Kannada superstar Upendra in a crucial role. Directed by P. Mahesh Babu of Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty fame, the movie received positive word-of-mouth for its engaging narrative, energetic performances and chart-topping songs.
Mythri Movie Makers is supporting the movie Andhra King Taluka and it has a strong cast consisting of Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Rajiv Kanakala, Tulasi, Rahul Ramakrishna, Satya, VTV Ganesh, and more. Ram’s character of a crazy fan was loved by the audience, and Upendra’s short but powerful role as Andhra King Suryakumar also contributed to the success of the movie. Bhagyashree Borse’s screen presence and music were also among the highlights.
The movie received good reviews, but it still has only the moderate box office returns and around ₹30 crore as the total amount during its theatrical run. The film is now preparing for an OTT second season.
It is said that the leading streaming platform Netflix has bought the digital rights of Andhra King Taluka. Numerous individuals are convinced that the movie will be released for viewing on December 25, 2025, coinciding with Christmas festivities. Yet, an official announcement from the makers is still pending.
The film’s theatrical release has come to an end, and it is believed that the OTT platform will bring in the movie more audiences while resuming the audience’s appreciation for the movie.
