Ravi Bishnoi Thrilled After Joining Rajasthan Royals, Eyes Partnership with Jadeja

Ravi Bishnoi has expressed his jubilation over the news of being acquired by Rajasthan Royals for ₹7.20 crore at the mini-auction of IPL 2026 held at Abu Dhabi. The leggie hoped to be playing along with the senior all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, and was sure that the partnership would be a part of his coming up as a cricketer.

Bishnoi was the press of a huge bidding war when he came to the auction with a starting price of ₹2 crores. All three franchises, Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Rajasthan Royals were vying for him. However, the Rajasthan Royals were the ones who won the bidding war and as such, the talented spinner got into their team just before the new season started.

Bishnoi was over the moon when the news came to him, as, for one thing, he would be with his home team, and for the other, he was waiting to see if he could collaborate with Jadeja in the bowling line-up. He praised Jadeja by calling him the world’s best all-rounder, and he also talked about the opportunity of learning a great deal from the old man’s skills and experience.

The young Indian cricketer, who is only 25 years old, declared that Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur is a “great cricket place”, saying that the long boundaries would be a bonus for the bowlers’ during the tournament.

Up to this moment, Bishnoi has been a part of 77 IPL matches and has bagged 72 wickets, giving away just 8.22 runs per over on average. On the other hand, he has 61 wickets in T20 Internationals at the International level, with an impressive economy rate of 7.36, thereby, confirming his reliability as a bowler in the limited overs format.
