According to early estimates from Sacnilk the Monday box office earnings for Border 2 reached ₹56 crore which established it as one of the largest Republic Day box office results in recent years. The film received strong Monday attendance which increased its total net earnings to ₹177 crore within four days and established a path for it to reach ₹200 crore during its first week.

The film Border 2 started its first day of release on January 23 with a total box office collection of ₹30 crore.
