The political action thriller Jana Nayagan, directed by H. Vinod and starring Thalapathy Vijay, is drawing in a lot of advance ticket sales, as it has already been released in the theaters. The film is going to be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi on January 9 as a Sankranthi special.
The Tamil version is already available for pre-booking in several international markets. As per the naked eye estimates, the film has made a whopping ₹15 crore overall so far, which is a clear indication of the great expectation around the project. The promotions of the movie especially targeting the final film of Vijay have increased the anticipation even more.
There have been rumors going on about the movie being the remake of the Telugu blockbuster Bhagavanth Kesari. The director H. Vinod while talking about the rumors preferred to be ambiguous and said that he would neither confirm nor deny the buzz. Moreover, he declared that the spectators must not focus on the question of whether it is a remake or a duplicate of some other piece but rather enjoy it in theaters.
The Jana Nayagan trailer has been reported to be released on January 3 by the production unit of the film and it is expected that the trailer will reveal many aspects of the movie. Moreover, the film’s music by Anirudh Ravichander is a key element that is making the release anticipation go up.
