President Donald Trump expressed his wish that military action against Iran would not become necessary while he showed interest in continuing diplomatic talks with Tehran during current nuclear agreement negotiations.
At the premiere of his wife Melania Trump documentary the president told reporters that the US military increased its presence in the area while the country seeks to resolve the conflict through diplomatic methods.
Trump declared I built up the military in my first term and now we have a group headed out toward Iran. Hopefully we will not have to use it.
Trump confirmed that Iranian officials would meet him for discussions because previous talks had occurred between them. He acknowledged the deployment of US naval forces while stressing that their use was not the preferred outcome.
I have had talks and I am planning on it. The United States possesses multiple military vessels which are currently operating in the Persian Gulf area. The spokesperson expressed his desire to avoid deploying their powerful vessels which are currently sailing toward Iran.
The international community has shifted its attention back to Iran’s nuclear program while diplomats work to stop additional regional conflicts from beginning. The United States uses diplomatic strategies to achieve its goal of stopping Iranian nuclear weapons development which International Atomic Energy Agency inspections will support.
