The flagship smartphone Vivo which is called X300 Ultra will be released as the first model in the X300 series in early next year already. In the meantime, before the official launch, valuable information has been leaked about the smartphone including its display features, design, and specifications, and also indicating the loss of the feature which was brought in by the predecessor.
The tipped information from Digital Chat Station via Weibo indicates that the Vivo X300 Ultra could possibly come with a massive BOE-made 6.82-inch flat LTPO display with an impressive sharp 2K resolution. The display is claimed to have very thin bezels producing a clean and seamless look for the smartphone. Moreover, the handset is likely to be fitted with a metal right-angle mid-frame which will further enhance its luxurious design.
When it comes to the design parts, the forthcoming Ultra will be similar to the X200 Ultra but with a larger circular rear camera module. A significant change, however, could be the disappearance of the camera and LED flash area which includes the dedicated camera button. The company Vivo had put clarity to its button with the X200 Ultra that in 2024 it would have a blue accent strip and it would support sliding gestures for camera controls. The button, made for thumb operation, provided quick access to all photography functions, especially in landscape mode. Its possible removal suggests that Vivo could either be streamlining the design even further or reconsidering the existing hardware controls for the camera by going software.
The global variant of the Vivo X300 Ultra is said to have already made its way to the European Economic Community (EEC) certification database, which is a clear indication that the phone is very much likely to be available in some European countries. Though the listing is silent on the specifications part, it really increases the likelihood of a broader international release.
Rumors going around earlier say that the Vivo X300 Ultra might offer a 120Hz refresh rate along with high-frequency PWM dimming which would lead to better visual comfort. In terms of the camera, the device is expected to flaunt a triple camera setup with two 200-megapixel sensors and one 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, thus positioning it as a strong contender in the mobile photography arena.
The mobile is anticipated to run on Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Besides, the device may come with an enormous 7,000mAh battery and a third-generation 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that provides more security and faster unlocking.
Vivo X300 Ultra has already become one of the most awaited premium smartphones for next year due to its high-quality hardware coupled with an elegant design.
