During the festive season that includes Christmas, New Year, and Sankranti, South Central Railway (SCR) has made the decision to provide more train services connecting Andhra Pradesh with Telangana to handle the large number of passengers. This resolution is taken considering the upsurge in travel demand on the long-distance routes holiday season.
According to these agreements SCR will operate extra railway services on the Narsapur–Vikarabad and Kakinada–Vikarabad routes which are heavily used. These extra services are meant for passengers in pain due to overcrowding on their regular services.
