Beach and adventure-loving travelers who usually flock to Goa may soon get a similar experience much nearer to their home. A huge artificial beach project of 35 acres is going to be the new place for Hyderabad where city will feel the coastal vibe right at its center.
A Beach Experience Without the Sea
Hyderabad is more than three hundred kilometers distant from the coast, but it is ready to provide the real beach atmosphere with all its visuals, sounds, and sensations. The administration of Telangana is bringing to life a very large project in the form of an artificial beach township at Kotwalguda which will not only attract tourists but also offer the people living in the city a new exotic place for relaxation.
Kotwalguda Chosen for 35-Acre Mega Project
The project will come up at Kotwalguda, located near the Outer Ring Road on Hyderabad’s outskirts. The project, which is being developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) model, is led by the Telangana Tourism Department in association with the Spanish Flua Dra Company and Fortune Hospitality. The estimated investment for this initiative is around ₹350 crore.
10-Acre Artificial Beach as the Main Attraction
The highlight of the township will be a sprawling 10-acre artificial beach. Imported special sand, a massive man-made lake, and advanced wave pools will recreate a realistic ocean-like environment. To keep cleanliness and safety, fully-designed water purification methods should be implemented.
Luxury Living, Adventure, and Entertainment
Beyond the beach, the rest of the area will have private villas of luxury, floating villas, and five-star hotels. People who love adventure will be able to do bungee jumping, sailing, skating and playing beach volleyball. There will also be playgrounds for children, cycling paths, walking trails, food courts, ornamental fountains, and areas for night activities included in the project.
A Step Towards Global Tourism Recognition
The Telangana government sees this as a flagship tourism project. The comprehensive project report has been submitted, and shortly, the construction process will start. An advanced international wellness spa resort with Ayurvedic therapies, yoga, and meditation as its main attractions will come up beside it and will make the whole locality even more appealing. When the beach city project is done, the city of Hyderabad will be well positioned on the world tourism map, inviting the interest of both local and foreign tourists.
