SBS has released the very first teaser for its upcoming fantasy-romance drama No Tail to Tell. The narrative is presented in a totally different manner from what we have normally been hearing with the classic gumiho storyline. The main character is portrayed by Kim Hye Yoon, and the series also includes a nine-tailed fox that is doing everything possible to remain a fox.
The plot focuses on Eun Ho (Kim Hye Yoon), a modern-day MZ generation gumiho, who is sure that the only way to stay forever young is by not doing any good deeds or even the slightest ones.Afraid that kindness could strip her of her centuries-old powers, Eun Ho lives by her own strict rules—avoiding charity altogether and limiting her mischief to only “big sins” that won’t threaten her supernatural status.
Lomon plays Kang Si Yeol, a narcissistic yet world-famous footballer and star striker for an overseas club. Known for outshining his entire team, Si Yeol’s life takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Eun Ho, setting the stage for an unusual and entertaining connection.
The teaser showcases Eun Ho’s quirky philosophy of life, as she explains her “gumiho survival tips” learned over nearly 900 years. Her rules include a firm ban on good deeds and a rejection of traditional gumiho myths—such as consuming human livers—which she dismisses with sarcasm. Instead, Eun Ho runs a mysterious business, granting wishes to wealthy humans in exchange for money, all while following her own code of conduct.
Eun Ho’s carefully managed atmosphere experienced a gradual transformation due to her interaction with Si Yeol, which brought to light the question if her association with him would alter her perception of mankind and existence in general.
No Tail to Tell is set to premiere on January 16, 2026, and will be accessible through Netflix for streaming.
