Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a, the K-drama couple, who are probably the most liked couple all over Korea, got married on Saturday and thus concluded a decade-long romance.

Family, relatives, and friends were the only ones invited to the wedding which took place at The Shilla Hotel in Seoul. Actor Lee Kwang-soo who has been a long-time friend of Kim facilitated the marriage.

The wedding was announced by the couple’s management AM Entertainment a month earlier, and one of the statements made by them was, “the couple unflinchingly pledged to be lifelong partners having the deep trust that has been built over many years together,” and then they asked the fans for “warm support and blessings.”

Kim Woo-bin has also posted a handwritten letter to the fans through his fan café, “I am getting married. Along with the one I have been with for a long time, I am now making a home and trying to walk forward together. It would be very nice if you could give us support so that the way we go is even warmer.”

The couple with a five-year age difference met first when the two were modeling for a clothing brand in the year 2015. They came public about their romance in July that same year and stayed together for ten years. Shin’s patient support during her boyfriend’s battle with nasopharyngeal cancer is one of the reasons for the admiration they receive for their bond.
