The president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has, finally, made public the names of the district (Lok Sabha constituency) presidents and general secretaries. The party officially declared this on Sunday.

As per TDP sources, the appointments of new officials largely depended on the thorough assessment of social representation, leadership capability, seniority, party loyalty, experience, and organisational efficiency. This reshuffle is to consolidate the party at the grassroots and assure effective coordination taking into account the competitive political scenario.

The new officers are likely to be the ones who will direct the foot soldiers, execute the party’s agenda, and assert the TDP’s existence in all the districts in Andhra Pradesh.
