After a long time and a lot of entertainment, the much-awaited Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 came to an end by declaring Kalyan Padala as the winner after 105 days of entertainment. The actress Thanuja was the second contestant to leave the house. Social media, however, has erupted with a new debate regarding the elimination of Ramya Moksha who is more famously referred to as the actress in Chitti Pikkils.

Ramya made an entry into the house as a wild card contestant right during the fifth week of the show and with her vibrant gaming style she barely took her teammate’s and audience’s attention. She took part in all the physical exercises with great vigor and even did the “firestorm” entry which was one of the major reasons for her being pulled at the male contestants’ challenges. Despite such a positive impact and energy, her candidness and personal comments over her co-stars especially Kalyan-Thanuja relations prompted netizens to respond negatively and hence the perception of her amongst the viewers became more troubled.

Even though she managed to stay through the first eviction, her open and honest remarks created a situation for her where she was made a scapegoat which ultimately turned out to be a very early exit—the second-week elimination. This move has sparked very strong reactions from MLC Duvvada Srinivas and Divvela Madhuri who have been vocal about the unfairness of Ramya’s dismissal. Duvvada went ahead and said, “Ramya Moksha should have continued till the final day. She put in so much effort and it was a good-top five finish she deserved. Prolonging the stay of unworthy contestants was nothing but clear injustice.”

Duvvada also pointed out the hardships she has faced, including having to deal with her father’s passing while she was becoming successful on her own, and he is encouraging the youth to get their training in resilience from her. Both Duvvada Srinivas and Divvela Madhuri were very much impressed with Ramya’s bravery and resilience and they highlighted that the Bigg Boss management had committed an injustice against a worthy contestant.

The virtual platforms where people express their opinions are still split. Some point out mistakes in the game, while others back up Ramya and call for just apportionment. The departure of Ramya is still a matter of contention in the fan and critic circles, and it has once more brought up the matter of fairness and honesty in reality shows.
