Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, which is a spy thriller featuring Ranveer Singh, is almost to the point of Rs 600-crore in India after 19 days of screening in the theaters. As per the report by Sacnilk, the film has domestically accumulated Rs 589.50 crore nett so far.
The film’s initial release was received extremely well by the audience and it grossed a total of Rs 207.25 crore in its first week. Subsequently, the movie set a new record by surpassing all the previous amounts with its second-off weekend collection of Rs 111 crore nett over a period of 9 and 10 days. Hence, on the second Monday and Tuesday, the figure went up by a net of Rs 30.5 crore, and thereafter it was Rs 25.5 crore on Wednesday and Rs 23.25 crore on Thursday of the second week. The third weekend certainly contributed a big chunk of Rs 95.25 crore, while third Monday and Tuesday brought in Rs 16.5 crore and Rs 17.25 crore net, respectively.
Dhurandhar is a film that takes place in Pakistan and tells the story of an Indian undercover agent who is tasked with taking out the city’s mafia in Karachi. The film has an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan, who all are supporting the main performance of Ranveer Singh with their respective roles.
