Certain states will have holidays while others will still have the usual banking services. If one plans ahead, it may be possible not to experience any delays with the important transactions.

Digital Banking Still Available

During holidays, customers will still be able to make use of online banking, mobile applications, UPI, and ATMs for fund transfers, bill payments, and other transactions. Nevertheless, large cash deposits, cheque clearances, and demand draft issuance would be among the in-person services that will not be available.

It is recommended that customers to anticipate their banking needs in advance and use the digital channels for the sake of uninterrupted financial activities. Bank holidays differ from state to state, and as per the RBI, banks are also closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month.
