Losing an iPad on a train in motion can really cause a lot of anxiety but the help offered by the train operators transformed one traveler’s recent day on the Dakshin Express into a pleasant conclusion.
A woman going to Bhopal accidentally left her iPad on the train on December 28, 2025. She took to the platform of X (the former Twitter) to recount her tale and complimented the RailMadad app and Indian Railways for their rapid response.
The woman registered a report through #RailMadad and called #139 and got a response in a matter of minutes. The Railway Protection Force (RPF), the Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE), and the Itarsi railway station personnel worked together excellently and recovered her iPad without delay.
The woman showed her special thanks to Mr. Ramesh Parihar, TTE Mr. Nagendra Kumar (GWL), Mr. Madhav Singh, and Navab Singh for their dedication and quickness among the station staff. Her post received warm reactions online, with many users praising the RailMadad app’s responsiveness and the Railway staff’s prompt action.
