Hyderabad Developing as World-Class City, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Says at Numaish Inauguration

The Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka praised Hyderabad not just as a city of the world standards but also said that it is the Future City that will be the development model for the whole state of Telangana. He made this statement during the inauguration of the 85th All India Industrial Exhibition (Numaish) at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds on Thursday.

At the gathering, Bhatti unreservedly revealed that the authorities are moving towards pollution decline in Hyderabad. He further pointed out that notwithstanding the fact that a few of the actions are merely short-term, the overall ambition to turn the city into a clean and environmentally-friendly place for the future generations remains. Besides, Bhatti emphasized the necessity of not only creating an inviting atmosphere for investments but also giving the needed support with quality electricity during the economic growth period.

He praised Osmania University students for their vision and involvement in setting up the All India Industrial Exhibition to the benefit of the general populace and stated that such exhibitions do enhance business opportunities. Bhatti promised that the government would always be there to back the Exhibition Society in its various ventures.

Suggestions from Ministers

Minister Sridhar Babu suggested that an integrated command center and even a university be established at the Numaish site. He stated that the Exhibition Society is now managing 19 institutions of education and these institutions are teaching 30,000 students by charging very low fees and giving jobs to 3,000 people. He appreciated the Numaish event’s stability, mentioning its still high demand in the digital era, getting hundreds of thousands of people.

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar stated that the government will review the requests of the Exhibition Society and take appropriate steps. The event was attended by former MP V. Hanumantha Rao, Special Chief Secretary CV Anand, Telangana Natya Academy Chairperson Alekhya, Telangana Fisheries Corporation Chairman Saikumar, and key officials of the Exhibition Society including R. Sukesh Reddy, B.N. Rajeshwar, Dr. N. Sanjeev Kumar, and T. Chandrasekhar.

Deputy CM Visits Srivari Temple

After the swearing-in ceremony, Bhatti Vikramarka, the newly appointed Deputy Chief Minister, visited the Srivari temple with his family. The educated temple officers greeted him and even permitted him to have a close inspection of the idol. Meanwhile, the priests were reciting and performing the rituals for the devotees in the Ranganayakula Mandapam area, conferring upon them the Vedic mantras. The guests were also given Tirtha Prasad as part of the trip.
