Three New Amrit Bharat Express Trains to Pass Through Andhra Pradesh; Routes Announced

To enhance rail connectivity the Central government has already approved the three new Amrit Bharat Express trains, which will connect southern and eastern India, the three services will pass through Andhra Pradesh.

The train feds in the Ministry of Railways with the newly operating Trains’ sanction will provide a route from Tamil Nadu to West Bengal, a travel option for passengers commuting to and fro among the states which is a significant improvement. The intercity and the inter-city movement of people between the areas of becoming religious, commercial, and industrial hubs by the rail will be uplifted.

The “triplet” of trains includes one that will run between Tiruchirapalli and New Jalpaiguri (West Bengal). But the operation will utilize the most significant stops of the Southern and Eastern railways, which are Thanjavur, Kumbakonam, Chidambaram, Villupuram, Chennai Egmore, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, and Kharagpur.

The Amrit Bharat Express, which will be the second in line of the three, will begin from Tambaram and end at Santragachi. Along its route, it will not only pass through but also connect the major junctions of the railways: Chennai Egmore, Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar, and Kharagpur. An official of the railways has stated that the route will not only link the passengers from southern India to eastern and northeastern areas, including West Bengal, but also provide them with much more convenient and better connections.

The third train will be linking Nagercoil to New Jalpaiguri and thus Indian Railways will have the longest distance between the two stations in India. The rail route will serve not only Nagercoil but also Tirunelveli, Madurai, Coimbatore, Salem, and Katpadi, and also touch Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, and Kharagpur along the way.

According to the Railways’ insiders, the opening of the services by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected soon. Besides, the launch of Vande Bharat trains which the government has plans of introducing as a part of the infrastructure modernization initiatives to provide upgraded travel facilities to the whole nation of passengers might also include one or two new trains.
