‘120 Bahadur’ Starts Free Streaming on OTT: Here’s When and Where to Watch

Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati in 120 Bahadur, a gripping war drama now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar’s much-acclaimed film ‘120 Bahadur’ is now available on OTT, with good news for viewers. The movie has been available so far for streaming on a rental basis with an added cost of ₹349, but it will be soon up for free streaming with no extra charges.

Rajnish, who directed Raazi, is the one who came up with 120 Bahadur first, a project that draws its inspiration from the 1962 India-China war. The performance of Farhan Akhtar is likened to that of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, the valiant soldier who was awarded the Param Vir Chakra and in charge of a small unit of Indian troops (120 men) in the legendary confrontation against a much larger Chinese army. Furthermore, Rashii Khanna is co-starring with others in the film.

The movie debuted last year and garnered positive reactions from both the viewers and the reviewers. In recognition of its patriotic theme, some state governments even allowed tax-free screenings.

Streaming Platform and Availability

120 Bahadur is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video under a rental model. Nonetheless, the streaming platform has declared the film’s free streaming from January 16 in an official way. The film is offered in Hindi only, but the viewers can understand it via subtitles.

About the Film

Farhan Akhtar, after Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, came back to the realm of biopic with the intense historical war drama which was already expected a lot by the fans. The tale revolves around Major Shaitan Singh Bhati and his 120 men holding the India-China border, thereby holding back almost 3,000 enemy troops, and their ultimate sacrifice.

Though the storyline is a bit old, the film did receive a lot of compliments for the way it was shot, the battle scenes, and the actors. It is going to be a gripping movie for the war film lovers, however, to a certain extent, some of the audience might find it going through the same old story again.

With the free streaming only a few days away, 120 Bahadur will be able to get more people to see it and also, it will give a chance to the audience to get control over the military stories of India that were the most inspiring ones.
