Director Anil Ravipudi has finally revealed details about Megastar Chiranjeevi’s remuneration for the blockbuster Mana Shankara Varaprasad. The movie has become a huge hit at the box office, and it is said to have grossed about ₹120 crore worldwide within the first two days of release.
Even though it was produced in a limited budget, the involvement of celebrity actors like Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, and Venkatesh caused a lot of gossip about their salaries being very high. If an industry insider is to be believed, Chiranjeevi is said to charge something around ₹50 crore to ₹70 crore minimum for his films. However, for Mana Shankara Varaprasad, reports suggest that he reduced his fee considering Sushmita Konidela’s involvement as a producer.
Nayanthara, the actress who captivated the viewers with her portrayal of Shashirekha, was speculated to demand ₹15 crore at first. But the actress later on, according to reports, took the ₹6 crore.offer. While Venkatesh was rumored to have gotten ₹9 crores, it is said that director Anil Ravipudi took about ₹25 crores as his pay.
