Air India Express Launches Bumper Flight Offer: Tickets from ₹1,399, Sale Valid for Two Days

Air India Express aircraft as the airline announces a limited-period bumper sale on domestic and international flight tickets.

For a long time, air travel has been a fantasy for most people, but pricey tickets have been keeping them away. Nevertheless, in the recent past, airlines have been opening up nice deals for the general traveller making it more economical to fly. Moreover, Air India Express is now bringing in another such deal by making flight tickets available for as low as ₹1,399 during a limited period.

The “Time to Travel” sale of Air India Express coincides with the Sankranti festival, offering a huge cut on the fares for the passengers who are thinking to fly domestic or international. The offer is valid for the bookings that will be done only till January 16, 2026, hence the travelers will have just two days to take advantage of the reduced rates.

The sale-period customers can choose their trip dates from January 20, 2026, to April 30, 2026. Economy class tickets for domestic destinations are priced as low as ₹1,399—almost the same as the bus ticket prices in many cases. For international travel, the lowest price on tickets is ₹5,446 making it now or never for going abroad.

Fares that have been slashed are applicable for Air India Express Lite and Value categories on specific flights and points with the exclusion of the premium doors.

Just to state the situation in short, tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis as this is a time-limited offer.

It is still not the end of good news. The carrier has stated that no fees for service will be charged on reservations. In addition, passengers can take advantage of up to 20% off on meal, seat, and bag selection services that are not included in the fare.

Travel during the festival season is expected to be high and with similar promotions planned by other airlines, IndiGo,, for example, the Air India Express offer looks to be a blessing for the budget-conscious and thus it is an opportune time for them to set out on a journey without worrying about the cost.
