The seaside of Visakhapatnam was nothing short of a colorful festival ground during the Sankranti celebration as the holiday attract tens of thousands of people to the city’s beaches. The huge flow of tourists from various states and the presence of large numbers of local people turned the RK Beach Road into a veritable sea of people on Thursday evening.

In parallel, the entire six-kilometer stretch from the Novotel Hotel to Kailasagiri was filled with a very electric and festival-like vibe. So young people, friends, and families all at the same time very enjoying a wonderful coast with sea’s good and fresh wind and the beauty of the land. The sounds of the people were mixed up with laughter, music, and the celebrations. The people were playing games, singing songs, and chatting with their families and friends and at the same time, the beach activities were going on.

The beach’s favored spots remained packed with late-night crowds which was a clear indicator that Visakhapatnam was still the number one festive place. The migration of visitors during Sankranti not only brought into the limelight the picturesque beauty of the city but also pointed out the developing inclination of people to organize open-air celebrations and hence, the Vizag beach became one of the trendiest places during the holiday season not only in Andhra Pradesh but in all over India.
