Hyderabad will be the site for the Global Capability Centre (GCC) of L’Oréal, the world’s first beauty-tech initiative, which is a great step for the innovation ecosystem in Telangana.
The well-known cosmetics giant has confirmed to the government of Telangana that it will carry out the GCC project in November this year. This was after CEO Nicolas Hieronimus of L’Oréal had a meeting with the Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, and other members of the Telangana Rising delegation during the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The eventual GCC will be completely devoted to beauty technology, thus reinforcing Hyderabad’s status as the hottest place for the world to tech and innovation centres. During the dialogue, the government of Telangana intimated that L’Oréal could establish its manufacturing unit in the State.
As per the officials of the state, this progress not only proves the effectiveness of Telangana’s aggressive pull of global companies but also indicates the plan to promote Hyderabad as an advanced technology and industry global hub.
