Toyota has officially launched its entry into India’s electric vehicle market with the Urban Cruiser Ebella which is scheduled to reach showrooms in the near future. The SUV will provide three different options to customers which include E1 E2 and E3 models. The E1 base model provides a 49 kWh LFP battery system which works with a single electric motor located at the front of the vehicle.
Power and Performance
The E1 model produces 142 bhp and 189 Nm of torque which makes it suitable for everyday use in urban areas. The charging system requires a 7 kW AC charger as its only charging option and the expected price will reach approximately ₹17 lakh (ex-showroom).The base trim includes modern features because of local production at Suzuki’s Gujarat manufacturing facility.
