Paresh Rawal confirmed The third instalment of the iconic comedy franchise will take place which ends all previous rumors about its status.

The veteran actor who appeared on The Lavari Show explained that internal rifts and delays created rumors about his upcoming project because the film stopped production when technical arguments between Akshay Kumar and the filmmakers occurred. The actor rejected all reports about his legal problems which included allegations that Akshay Kumar had filed a ₹25 crore lawsuit against him. The actor showed that he will start working when the technical problems get fixed.

Paresh Rawal explained how his character Baburao Ganpatrao Apte holds vital importance to him because The franchise depends entirely on his character. The character of Baburao plays a central role in The film success according to him because The character acts as a key component that drives The entire narrative of The film.

Rawal added to brighten where it fell on the side of things – implying the decision will be either with the producer (Farhad Samji) or with Akshay Kumar. “If the issues are resolved between them, I’ll sign the papers. It has nothing to do with me otherwise, but the film will definitely happen,” he assured fans.

Director Priyadarshan has expressed doubts about his return to the franchise. He announced his directorial intentions for Hera Pheri 3 based on his need to discover a suitable story which would serve as a tribute to the original film’s legacy. “The first part was born successfully; the third shouldn’t let it die,” he remarked.

The last movie appearance of Paresh Rawal occurred in The Taj Story which did not succeed at the box office. Fans, however, remain hopeful that his return as Baburao in Hera Pheri 3 will revive the magic of the cult classic.
