The box office success of Sunny Deol’s action-filled war movie ‘Border 2’ shows no signs of stopping as the film has now earned more than Rs 250 crore after only 9 days since its premiere. The film has drawn enormous audience interest since it began showing in theaters on January 23 2026.
Box office tracker Sacnilk reports that ‘Border 2’ earned Rs 17.75 crore on its second Saturday after the film recovered from its Friday decline which brought in Rs 10.75 crore. The movie has reached a total worldwide revenue of Rs 252.75 crore after earning Rs 224.25 crore in its opening week and Rs 28.5 crore in its second week.
The film reached the Rs 250 crore milestone after 9 days but it falls short of both 2025 blockbusters ‘Chhaava’ which earned Rs 286.75 crore and ‘Dhurandhar’ which achieved Rs 292.75 crore within the same period.
The international success of ‘Border 2’ is demonstrated by its total worldwide revenue which includes about Rs 302.25 crore from Indian markets and Rs 41.75 crore from international markets, which combine to produce a total worldwide revenue of nearly Rs 344 crore.
The first two days of ‘Mardaani 3’ collection in which Rani Mukerji’s film brought in Rs 10 crore has not impacted the box office performance of ‘Border 2’ which continues to hold the position of highest-grossing movie for 2026.
