Samsung 2026 OLED TVs, Odyssey Monitors Get Nvidia G-Sync Compatibility

Samsung has announced that its upcoming 2026 OLED TV models and specific gaming monitors will achieve Nvidia G-Sync Compatibility certification which enables seamless gameplay without any visual interruptions when used with Nvidia-powered PC and laptop systems.

The company revealed that all its 2026 OLED TV models — including the S85H, S90H and flagship S95H — support Nvidia G-Sync. The S85H model offers refresh rates that reach 120Hz while the S90H and S95H models deliver advanced performance capabilities which enable refresh rates to reach 165Hz. Samsung showcased these new OLED TVs and monitors at CES 2026 which took place in January.

Samsung’s new OLED TVs provide support for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro which enables gamers to play at high frame rates while experiencing less screen tearing and stutter across different hardware configurations. The TVs further come with HDR10+ Advanced support, a format introduced late last year that positions itself as a competitor to Dolby Vision 2, enhancing visual depth and contrast during gameplay.

Samsung’s Odyssey G6 (G60H) and Odyssey OLED G6 (G61SH) gaming monitors have received Nvidia G-Sync Compatible certification. The Odyssey OLED G8 model which was announced at the same time as these new devices does not provide G-Sync functionality.

The 27-inch Odyssey G6 (G60H) delivers an unparalleled industry-leading refresh rate capability which reaches 600Hz at its native QHD resolution and extends to 1,040Hz at HD resolution. The 27-inch Odyssey OLED G6 (G61SH) provides a QD-OLED panel which displays QHD resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms response time and HDR10+ Gaming certification.

Kevin Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung’s Visual Display Business, commented on the announcement by stating that the company intends to deliver a consistently high-quality gaming experience across its entire device lineup. He stated that “We deliver more power and precision and immersion through our OLED TV and gaming monitor innovations.”
