The WWE WrestleMania 42 main event will feature Roman Reigns and CM Punk who had a heated match during their Monday night performance which delighted wrestling fans around the world.

The audience welcomed Royal Rumble champion Roman Reigns with loud cheers as he walked to the ring. Reigns wanted WWE fans to select his competitor for the largest wrestling event because he desired to compete against either CM Punk or Drew McIntyre. The audience chanted their preferred choice until CM Punk walked to the performance area.

Punk ignored Reigns while he shifted his complete focus toward Finn Bálor. Punk declared himself the “baddest guy” when pushed after warning Bálor that he would soon reveal his dark side.

Reigns expressed his dissatisfaction about Punk taking his special moment after he questioned Punk about his reasons for doing so. Punk responded to the situation by saying Reigns was a “visitor” on his show while he maintained control of everything. Punk predicted that Reigns would avoid their WrestleMania match because Reigns lacked the courage to fight him and would choose to battle Drew McIntyre instead.

Reigns had different intentions.

Reigns made a personal decision after he created an electric atmosphere in the arena. The statement showed Reigns declared his choice of Punk because he wanted to destroy Punk completely while he claimed that he had always hated Punk. The statement sealed the blockbuster matchup.

WWE confirmed that Roman Reigns will face CM Punk at WrestleMania 42 which will happen on April 18 and 19 in Las Vegas. The intense promo battle has created extremely high expectations for the upcoming WrestleMania main event which will become one of the most explosive main events in WrestleMania history.
