CM Revanth Reddy Orders Helpline, Swift Relief Measures After Kurnool Bus Tragedy

Following the tragic accident causing death and injury in Kurnool District, after this incident of a bus accident, the Chief Minister on Thursday held an emergency meeting with Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao and DGP Shivdhar Reddy. The Chief Minister also instructed all officials to rush in relief and coordination activities.

Revanth Reddy advised the administration to open a helpline for the families of the victims to enable information and assistance. He asked the Genco Chairman, Harish, to immediately rush to the site to oversee rescue operations and assist the families of the victims.

Further, the Chief Minister directed the Gadwal District Collector and Superintendent of Police to remain present at the site and ensure that all help be rendered. He lamented that they must immediately undertake steps to declare names of deceased, provide assistance for the injured, and coordinate with hospitals for their instant treatment.

Revanth Reddy was of the opinion that all efforts should be made in assisting the victims and their families, saying, “No effort should be spared to save life and give immediate assistance.”
