Hyderabad Weather Alert: Heavy Rain to Lash City Today — IMD Issues Warning

The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad, has released a warning for Friday, which is categorized as a yellow alert, and possibly bringing light to moderate rains along with thunder and strong winds in different areas of the city.

The IMD’s weather prediction indicates that the day will be completely cloudy and, in addition, there will be a risk of isolated thunderstorms with winds reaching 30 to 40 kmph at certain times. Commuters are suggested to consider carefully before traveling and also to keep an eye on the weather for sudden changes.

As per the IMD report, the wind at the surface is predicted to come from the east and southeast at the rate of 5 to 10 kmph. The city may also face mist or hazy conditions during the very early morning and late evening hours which might likely reduce the visibility in certain areas.

The residents are encouraged to follow the weather updates from their locality and take the necessary precautions, particularly during travel or outdoor work.
