Akshaye who always keeps his social media accounts empty was in the news recently as a very rare video of him went viral. The video clip, which was posted by Shivam Mhatre, a priest on Instagram, features the actor conducting a traditional Vastu Shanti hawan at his house in Alibaug.

The priest while posting the video has written in Marathi that he felt lucky to perform a devotional puja at Akshaye Khanna’s house and he was very impressed by the actor’s calmness, simplicity, and positive vibes. The priest went so far as to say that Akshaye is “the definition of class in acting,” praising his constant and powerful performances through the years.

The priest talked about Akshaye’s unforgettable parts in movies like Chhaava, Dhurandhar, Drishyam 2, and Section 375 where he pointed out that each role was like a new summit of his acting career. He also mentioned that Akshay still was and is a star, who is being respected and admired because of his thoughtful selection of significant films and mature characters.

Dhurandhar directed by Aditya Dhar and with Ranveer Singh as its main actor has been met with an overwhelming positive response all over the country. The second Saturday earnings of the movie are reported to be higher than those of some of the top-grossing films like Pushpa 2 (Hindi), Chhaava, Stree 2, and Animal.

The creators have gone ahead and revealed Dhurandhar Part Two, which is expected to come out on March 19, 2026, after the film’s popularity.
