New map, weapons, winter based events, and enhanced looting mechanics are the major attractions of the new version that KRAFTON India has developed, all of which get together to take the already brilliant battle royale experience one notch higher.

🗺️ New Penguin Town Map

The new map that is coming with this update is dubbed Penguin Town, a cold war zone that not only has different types of terrains but also plenty of strategic hiding places. Players can try their luck with shooting from a distance or even get into the lightest of the fighting while also looking for the top-tier loot zones that are perfect for tactical planning.

Among the things that are added is the Fish Rocket Launcher, an odd but strong weapon that not just adds the element of surprise to the combat encounters but also makes it very entertaining.

❄️ Snow Festival & Ice Gadgets

[The Snow Festival event turns] the well-known Erangel map into a freezing cold fairyland, where the players will find not only the decorations that belong to the winter season, but also the challenges and the interactive elements. The players can engage with the newly planted Ice Gadgets to immobilize objects, trick the opponents with the slippery traps, or facilitate their movement with the help of the flamethrower-like effects, thus, completely transforming the way one can outsmart the opponent.

⚙️ Gameplay Enhancements

BGMI 4.1 also introduces new looting methods whereby players can be looted while they are downed or on the move in vehicles, hence making the skirmishes more fluid and tactical.
