Telugu actress Dimple Hayathi has revealed a very surprising secret about her family and in this way, she has further connected to the legendary film director Dasari Narayana Rao. The actress who is going to couple up with Ravi Teja in Bharta Mahashayulaku Vignapti during this Sankranti, has already opened up about her heritage in an interview.

According to Dimple Hayathi, Dasari Narayana Rao was her grandfather’s nephew thus making the legendary director closer in the family tree as her great-uncle. This is a piece of information that was not in the public domain because she had ever so often not brought up the matter till now. “Dasari Narayana Rao garu is my grandfather’s relative”. Most of the people are unaware of this, and I never considered it necessary to make it public earlier,” she told.

The actress, besides, revealed her strong links to the film industry through her family tree. Her grandma, Prabha, appeared in many betterknown Telugu films and was a favorite actress who even shared her roles with NTR in Dana Veera Soora Karna. Later, Prabha played important character roles, one being Ravi Teja’s mother in Kick and Prabhas’ mother in Raghavendra and Rebel among others.

Dimple recounted that during the making of Kick, the film director Surender Reddy came across her picture and she was the one who came to his mind for the role of Ileana’s sister in Kick. But, as she was only in the fourth standard at that time, her family refused the offer, thinking that she was too young to enter the film industry. She later revealed that she had the feelings of regret for not taking the opportunity and that she even mentioned it to Ravi Teja when they were working together on Khiladi.

Originally from Vijayawada, Dimple Hayathi was raised in Hyderabad and her initial film as a lead actress was Gulf. Though she has acted in different films and even performed in item numbers, the major release is still not there for her. Her recent coming out of the relationship with Dasari Narayana Rao has now opened a new chapter of curiosity regarding her personal and professional journey.
