Director Vashishtha, who is currently busy shooting Vishwambhara with Megastar Chiranjeevi, made striking comments about the Telugu horror mystery thriller Shambala at its recent success meet. The director, as a special guest of the Shambala Vijayotsavam event, directly complemented the movie and its creators.

Yugandhar Muni directed Shambala, which has Aadi Sai Kumar, Archana Iyer, and Swasika Vijayan in lead roles. The film was released on December 25 in theatres and has been gathering positive reviews and good audience response since then.

During the event Vashishtha said, “Sai Kumar started the year with a hit and Aadi finished it with a hit.” After watching the teaser and trailer of Shambala, I honestly felt this was my genre. But after seeing the complete film, I was truly shocked by the output.”

He also praised music director Sri Charan Pakala for the film’s powerful background score. “The sound design was outstanding. At one point, I felt the Sushumna Nadi itself might explode. Vashishtha expressed his delight saying, “kudos to the director and producers for such a huge success.”

Producer Mahidhar Reddy, while speaking to the audience, disclosed the information regarding the making of the film. “We initially planned Shambala on a limited budget. But after seeing Yugandhar Muni’s output, we decided not to compromise and spent whatever was required. Aadi garu’s support was unforgettable. We sincerely thank the audience for making this such a big success,” he said.

Another producer, Rajasekhar Annabhimoju, expressed confidence about the film’s continued run. “The audience has embraced Shambala. We are hopeful that collections will be even stronger in the second week. Our thanks to Aadi garu and Yugandhar garu for standing by the project,” he stated.

Writer-director Kona Venkat described Shambala as a “divine blockbuster.” “There has been a positive vibe around this film since the teaser and trailer were released. Everyone wanted Aadi to achieve a solid success. Sai Kumar garu is someone everyone admires. This success feels like a win for our family,” he said.

Praising director Yugandhar Muni’s dedication, Kona Venkat added, “After the massive success of our OTT series Puli Meka with Aadi, I am happy to see him succeed again. Like a sage performing penance, Yugandhar Muni worked tirelessly on this film. Every character was written beautifully. Shambala is a content-driven film that showcases everyone’s talent. We need more such meaningful and fresh films in Telugu cinema.”

With strong industry appreciation and growing audience support, Shambala continues to perform impressively at the box office.
