A large blaze destroyed the Kamatipura shoe factory on Tuesday night. The fire caused considerable damages but thankfully no one got hurt. The event took place around 11 PM in the Osmanbagh locality.
As per the police sources, the sparks that started the fire were produced by a short circuit in the electricity supply cables located nearby, and then the fire spread rapidly and consumed the stock of materials in the unit. The fire was controlled by the response of the Chandulal Baradari fire brigade.
The officials, on the one hand, confirm that the investigation is still in progress in order to determine the exact cause of the fire and to measure the losses, but on the other hand, they are suggesting the same thing as they say the inquiry is still going on.
