Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection: Rishab Shetty Film Nears ₹600 Crore, Set to Beat Chhaava

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 is unstoppable at the box office. The mythological action-drama, directed by and starring Rishab himself, is now closing in on the lifetime record of Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s Chhaava.

Released on October 2, 2025, the film opened to thunderous applause from audiences and critics alike. Despite clashing with Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, Kantara: Chapter 1 has emerged as a clear box office winner, drawing crowds across India and overseas.

As per early box office estimates by Sacnilk, Chhaava collected ₹601.54 crore (India net), while Kantara: Chapter 1 has already raked in ₹559.06 crore within 22 days of release. With this momentum, the Rishab Shetty-starrer is expected to overtake Chhaava’s lifetime earnings in just a few days.
