At the pre-release event of Rajasab, director Maruthi’s emotional side was evident. Until now, Maruthi has directed mostly small to mid-range films, many of which had flopped. So, having one of India’s biggest superstars, Prabhas, come forward to work with him was a huge opportunity.
Seeing the promos of Rajasab, it’s clear Maruthi gave his all for this project. The actor was very confident of his performance during the pre-release ceremony and he even went as far as to say that no one would be disappointed with the movie at all. In a joking manner, he gave out his home address and said that anyone who was going to be unhappy with the film could come over and confront him.
However, Maruthi’s fans had a different plan. Inspired by the Rajasab trailer, Rebel fans of Prabhas decided to send biryani parcels to Maruthi’s home as a token of their love and appreciation. Maruthi was overjoyed receiving the parcels, sharing photos on social media and thanking Prabhas fans. He also mentioned that he would return the gesture with a “reverse treat” on January 9.
Prabhas, through his social media handle, also reacted with humor. He joked about why Maruthi shared his address and how fans put it to good use. Known for giving his co-workers a hard time jokingly, Prabhas fans sending biryani to Maruthi drew comments from netizens praising their love for their superstar and how they would never trouble him.
